The message that is sent to the veiwer is that if you read the sun newspaper, you could get everything that is advertised here. But, quite frankly, myself, nor my friends foccosed on the fact it was a newspaper ad. The message is sent by cleverly using boobs. This company used the sterotype male that likes sport, beer and cars to finish off selling this product. The persuasive techneiques used here are boobs. From the minute you saw her you were captured by her, because she was naked. Therefore dragged in to the ad. The woman in this ad is portrayed as a sex object and a mans play thing. even though this ad was funny and clever it was still affencive to women. The sterotypes shown in this ad are, that woman are all skinny big boobed, small wasted and beautifully airbrushed to, almost perfection. Another sterotype is that men are all beer drinking, boob loving, sport watching, car lovers. Which a lot of them are, but they’re not all like that. In this ad the advertises want you to be pretty and skinny. The persuasive techniques in this ad are very effective to men. It’s just extremly funny to women.
